“We were hit with a sudden and severe storm event on Wednesday night and wish to advise all our wonderful patrons that we will be CLOSED for the duration of assessing the damage fully and cleaning up.
We need to deal with insurance and source supplies for the repairs.
We are so thankful to all who have contacted us with support and will continue to provide updates via Facebook. In the meantime please do not visit the Hotel as it is unsafe for visitors and we would need to turn you away for your safety.”

That's sad. Have stayed over the road on the banks of the billabong more than once , and have had a couple of much appreciated meals there. Ales aren't bad either. Glad they were insured.

Not to be confused with Nindigully ....... another great place but much further east.

Cheers
Jim

Looks like they may reopen today, reads like they got a big hail storm with the mention of broken windows

“ UPDATE: Looking on track to REOPEN the bar Saturday from 10am.

Please note that there will be limitations to our services as we continue to clean up and organise repairs. Fuel is available again from tomorrow (and we are pleased to announce the coffee machine was not harmed)

IMPORTANT: due to the number of broken windows we sustained, appropriate footwear is recommended. We did what we could with the glass but cannot guarantee we got it all.”
