G'day, I realise that the Hema site is a Beta version, but just had a look at the site to check conditions going Cann River/Bombala/Bega/Batemans Bay etc and find that the information on the map goes back to atleast March this year. Anybody else found this when using the site? I would have thought conditions would be fairly current or what is the use of the site? I did try and ring Hema, but closed, so I have emailed them lookng for an answer, but thought I would ask here also. Comments?

Good stuff - I have recently been looking at the WA Main Roads one ( MRWA Travel Map) which works quiet well. A quick look at the Hema site suggests it is a bit out of date (by several hours) for WA Data at least - based on some of the road closures shown on Hema now being shown as open on MRWA site.

As we have good live traffic feed sites provided by the main roads people, why would you use sites with second hand info from the main roads people?

Yes - I don't see the point either...considering Hema site seems to not be updating live i.e. old news

Cheers
