My 2008 3L Turbo diesel went into limp mode and after some testing from my mechanic it appears that my turbo is the issue. I have been estimated $2,000 for a new replacement turbo but I have found on the net turbos for around $650-700. The brand is VIEZ and I would like to know if anyone has purchased one of these and if so are they any good or trash?
The car is only a weekend warrior with no major trips planned but last thing I want is to be stuck at the beach with a dud turbo. Any info would be appreciated.

I found this, with one search on Safari.

Colorado Turbo.
It looks like an upgrade, not just a replacement part?

Mark D28, don't know where you live, but if it's in
Brisbane or close give G&L Motor Repairs and Performance a ring, they are very good with the Isuzu 4JJ1 diesel motor and are very honest when it comes to diagnose and quoting on repairs. Their address is 34 Railway Terrace Rocklea. Phone 07-32779080. I am not associated with this business but have had very satisfactory dealings with them in the past.
