Is it just my browser? If you forget to click "I'm not a Robot" prior to hitting Submit for a new
forum post you lose all of your typed text.. it can't be recovered..

I have been using an Addon on my Firefox called
Textarea Cache. This records everything you type into your newsgroups and the like. If you do something silly or have a system crash and lose your typing you can recover it easily. The Addon puts an icon in one of the toolbars, you just click on the icon and then go looking for your text.
There are a number of other similar Addons for FF, If Textarea Cache is not available on your browser I'm sure there would be something similar for your browser.

Had something similar happen on Exploroz with the Preview option a while back. David was AGAIN very quick to fix the problem, caused by an upgrade oversight iirc.
I often ctrl-c before posting on some sites but occasionally forget. Found this Chrome extension
Typio Form Recovery
which might be useful to some

That one is similar to the Textarea Cache I mentioned in my previous reply. In the link you supplied they make mention of Lazarus Form Recovery. I used that way back but its creator did not update it when Firefox suffered a serious update. It also did not translate to Win 10. There are plenty of similar Addons and I can recommend that everyone should have one of them installed to overcome mishaps.
