Sorry about that, I have been up the coast,

I did scroll down to see if it had been posted but it must have been further back than I scrolled.

I had planned to head bush in NSW next week but all the damage to vehicle wiring by the mice has got me a bit concerned.

I would hate to deal with mouse damage. I put these things in the engine bay and leave the bonnet up overnight when we are in FNQ.

With regard to mice and how to deter, I was thinking of buying an Ultra Sonic deterrence unit, but when I investigated further found them to be a useless piece of kit. Will now look further at your method, thanks.

I read somewhere that little LED lights in the engine bay would keep them away.

I made up two and hooked them up to the spare battery. Only use them when needed.
Not much power drain as they are LED and small and only two.

Anyone else heard of this?

Bill B, just looking at this idea now on this link. Not sure if they work or not, in the advertising video, the lights can be seen flashing, but I think the rat only reacts when an external source scares it away, not the lights, LOLRatlite video Forgot to add the link to the ad.LED video
