Gday,
Has anyone had any experiences with getting a caravan moved interstate?
Im thinking at buying a caravan in Murry
Bridge in SA and looking to have it moved to
Geraldton in WA.
Can anyone recommend a company or service and have an idea of price?
Cheers

HI YA Hairy,
We brought our van in Victoria, and we went through the exercise of having it shipped over or going and getting it, It worked out cheaper for us to go and collect it, I don't remember the exact figures but it turned out we were $1500, in front by going and getting it, plus we had 10days of holiday ,and learnt a lot about our new van in a very short time.
I hope this helps you in you quest for knowledge, good luck.

Gday,
I have considered driving, but its around 6000Km so would need a couple weeks of work, and if they shut the borders due to covid again it could get pretty expensive and time consuming.......Also Ive got to buy a bigger car to tow it, so 6000km in a car I dont know and having to set it up for towing when I get there might be asking for trouble........Cheers

G'day Hairy,
Just done a quick Google & got these 4 options. The 4th one, CEVA, do a lot of car transporting & I'd suggest they'd be very reliable. They run good, up to date gear too.

We used U-Trans to move our Matrix from Caloundra to
Adelaide. Excellent to deal with and we thought that compared to the cost of driving there and back they were very cost efficient. As
well moving trailer like stuff is their bread and butter, vis they are specialists.

$2600 which for what we got compared to what we would have had to pay to go there and back was considerably less. No brainer and U-Trans are excellent
