Hi Baker,
The internet abounds with sites of businesses offering gas struts.

Have a look at Ovesco here.. They have a good range, but unsure how small they go?

Hi Baker
I have used a mobile strut repairer/service for a couple of small jobs. Maybe look on the net for any local service. Could probably adjust the pressure to suit.

E Bay......find your length, scroll thru them all until you find something near the Nm needed. For 30Nm, you may have to go up to 50 or higher but it won't make a huge difference.

Baker : a business that i can highly recommend is strut shop Moorabbin in Victoria i have used them many times from light weight struts like your looking for through to heavy type like i have on my camper boat rack which they have helped me endlessly set this up . They have an online store where they will post them out and you will have them in a few days in my experience . They will make them to order from what I understand not just off the shelf , changing pressures, ends, sizes etc .. Hope this maybe of some help to you & any another's

Think recycling and go to a motor wreckers. They have plenty which hold up bonnets and tail gates one others. Most likely will have something to suit. There are many small ones on cars with small boot size.
