Hi, looking at buying either a North Coast RV X15 or a Murray Built 17 set-up for 2 people. Downsizing from 22 ft. van. Has anyone had any experience with either of these vans? Would love any advice and chat about layout. Regards Len

I had a look at the North coast offering but couldn't find anything much about the Murray one unless joining some net groups I am not part of.
It seems they have "features a plenty" but are also near double the price of run of the mill vans of similar features and size internal and external. I see they have many ports and hatches and gear but is it really needed.
I couldn't justify the cost of the either variant.

Len B we have a 15' NCC Titanium.Bought new in October 2018 & have completed in excess of 36,000km's over a lot of quite rough terrain with no issues of note. Staff at NCC have been very helpful & Brian , the owner of NCC , seems readily available.
Any specific questions feel free to ask.

Hi Batsy, what layout do you have? We are in Victoria, flew upto Caloundra a couple of weeks ago to see NCC, had the SPNX there but no completed X15s to look at. We are looking at 2 berth tandem. Thanks Len

Ours is a queen bed with right hand side walk around. Single axel with pull out galley, not wrap around as is the current rage. 3x100 ltr water tanks with provision for another 100ltr & 80 ltr grey water tank & 400 wts of solar.
Cheers

Thanks Batsy, we're looking at the X15 tandem with the shower/toilet combined. Unfortunately they didn't have a complete van to look at when we visited, only the SNPX which doesn't suit us. Little concerned about the table size for computer as we intend to work remotely while travelling. Also looking at Murray Built 17 ft van. Great to hear you've had no issues, they're well built.

LenB. We have owned a 12’ NCC (2016). We sold it last year and our new 13’ Murraybilt is due in about 8 weeks. Chris Murray only ‘advertises’ on Facebook and Instagram. We would be of the opinion that his product is of very good quality. Best thing is to have a really good talk to both manufacturers if you can.
