Hi all, trust you are having a relaxing day, Would anyone know of the top of their heads, what the standard quoted thermostat opening temp is for GU 4.2td. Thanks Michael

You've probably already tried this, but I'll go on anyway. Put the thermostat in a pot and heat the water. If it boils and the thermostat doesn't open, it's buggered, buy a new one.
I recently did one on my son's Falcon and tested the new one before installing, from memory it opened at about 80 C. Don't know if diesels are different.

A GQ is 80 degrees Celsius /180 degrees Farenheit.- You can probably assume a GU would be the same I guess.
