Can anybody update the current status of the Milparinka Hotel, according to the Mag ON THE ROAD it has closed ?

Yes I have the contact details, I was just wondering if the report in the magazine was true.
Have you been past lately, I'm thinking they maybe just temporarily closed due to Covid. I don't wish to disturb them with a call of that nature.

Hi Mike,

Me and the wife were there on Sunday the 15th of May, yes very much open we had a Steak Sandwich and a Hamburger with the lot and two beers.

Very friendly operator and it looked like guests had stayed in the pub accomodation rooms the previous night.

The volunteers are there manning the old ruins as well, a few caravaners in the camping area

Well worth a stop before Tiboburra and depending on your circumstances and travelling arrangements probably a better option tham Tibooburra.
