Nudenut
not to may have heard of it.
fits to both mechanical and electronic speedo's and alarm is speed selectable.....
bit of pain when speed changes to say 80 for a kilometre or so but its saved me on many occasions.
The alarm can be set to trigger at virtually any speed and is easy to calibrate to speedo
well swmbo.....she's tone deaf...no, honestly its saved her a few times as
well

Yeah our Commodore has one. Bloody thing is a nuisance beeping all the time but it does bring one back into line as the car is just too quick.

Hired a V6 Camry once, the speed alert went as high as 195. Did I set it to that and see if it beeped at 196? No comment .... but it was a hire car.

Nudenut ... that's not such a bad idea for us urbanites. The number of times the Jack has just drifted up to 70 clicks in a 50 zone is a worry.
Would you believe I often use the cruise control to limit the vehicle when taking the kids to school? There is a known area around here with a
police presence and it's all just
too easy to drift up and over the limit.
Where did you get your speed alert?
