Avicia,
Overheating and head gaskets are the weak link from what I heard and seen. Guy at work here has one, he's still persevering with his he can't sell it. I had a 2.5 Turbo diesel one and had some great fun in it, got a good reasale on it as well, very reliable, no problem. I know the V6's had engine issues.
Keep the shiny side up

I would personaly stay well away from a Mitsu with that many k's, unless it is dirt cheap. They do have a tendancy to burn oil, have noisy lifters and blow head gaskets when they have done high k's. Like everything though, it depends on how it has been serviced and cared for.

You could do a search of Pajeroclub forum & outerlimits 4x4 Mits. forum.
Quite a bit been posted there & general consensus on V6 seems to be
very reliable with reports of high kms from motors but depends on how it has been treated.
I have a 2.5td with 220,000kms & its going better now than 4 years ago after a
couple of simple tweaks. 10kms p/l at 100kmh & better in slower going.
Weakness is the gearbox which is cheaper to buy new or repair than some others.
Later versions said to be better. Mine has original brakes all round, & only one ball joint replaced. They have strong diffs & axles.
At 190,000 it is almost due for timing belt change & major service & possibly clutch if never touched & brakes if not done before.

hiya 200000ks is getting up a little bit unless its been well serviced ect.
just rebuilt a 3ltr v6 paj motor 220000ks stapped timing belt.
also recently done a chalenger motor blowing smoke 120000ks.
this is JUST MY OPINION but i would be looking else where unless its really cheap.
a new donk is about $4000 fitted
