Hi guys,
Does anybody knows, if the border is opened? Traveling on holidays (or hoping to travel, I should say) from QLD to NT. Haven't been in any covid hot-spots. Checked their government website - clear as mud. Completed travel declaration a few days ago - no reply. Telephone hot line is off - it's a weekend. Thanks in advance.

Yes it's open.
Google revealed this site (which is the one I used a couple of weeks ago). So easy to use.

Keep in mind even these government sites can be 12 hours out of date, prior to new decisions being announced. I had personal experience with this last week.

That's right, Mark. Happened to me too. Applied for the SA permit a month ago on their website, following all regulations - got a refusal: didn't fit the category (?) Thanks for your reply.

Probably referring to the border entry application Laz, as per the website instructions:
"You must fill in this application if you are travelling to the NT from another location within Australia or overseas.
Anyone seeking to enter the NT must declare:
- if they have been in a COVID-19 hotspot
- where they have been in the last 28 days
- their personal contact details
Complete this application no more than 7 days prior to arriving in the Northern Territory.
You should be aware of the Chief Health Officer directions regarding entry to the Northern Territory."
