Has anybody travelled the Gove to Roper track via Numbulwar? If so can we get a track update please. Cheers.

You wont get a permit x2!! Worked and lived in the area for close on 2 decades. I had a special permit due to my work requirements. The track was proposed for tourist use once but it never eventuated. Get caught on the track without a permit and you would be in a world of strife.

You will need a permit for the Central Arnhem road as well . This may also be hard to get. Apparently the NLC stopped issuing permits for tourism a while ago .
Good luck .....hope you can get there it is an awsome place to visit

We were in Jabaru a month ago and there was a notice on the door of the NLC office . The reason was COVID
. There is conflict between the NLC and all the other organisations that issue permits . If you can get the permit to drive the Central Arnhem road you will be good to go .

hope you get in it is an awesome place to visit

If you make it to nuhulunbuy stay at the boat club about 10 k out of town you can beat the ocean view !
