Hi Everyone – Just crossed the border and visited Keep River in NT. A small National Park with scenery matching some of the bigger parks. Situated on the WA/NT boundary; 468 Km from
Katherine. Lots to see including aboriginal art and
rock structures similar to the Bungle Bungles in WA. Our video features two of the best hikes in the park but there are others which are
well worth the effort seeing. At the time of producing the video it was dry, but the park would come alive with streams and creeks flowing, adding a whole new dimension. There are two camping areas. Access in the dry is easy however there are corrugations. At $4 a night per person this is a great location!

Special Place Keep River NP.
We did some volunteer work there some years ago. Who is the current
Ranger?
Cheers,
Peter

We passed the
ranger twice on the main track but never got to speak to him/ her. The work done in the park is exceptional, very impressive.

Great park, we stayed there back in 2004. Not much in the way of facilities back then, but very scenic.
Macca.

Visited in 2002. A very special park with fantastic features, and still very vivid in our memories.
Was pretty basic back then.
Cheers

Was thinking about doing a quick trip in when we are in
Kununurra next month but the hassle of having to do the G2G to get back into WA put me off. I'll just wait until times are normal again and we don't need permits to cross borders. Nice video M&C.
