Thank's for your message.
I think the desktop / browser version is not working to set your current location on apple mac. It just shows
randomly each day a different current location. On other map apps it works fine.
Hopefully I am not the only person with a mac here.

G'day Broome........

Try this ...... Turn on Location Services

On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Security & Privacy, then click Privacy. If the lock at the bottom left is locked , click it to unlock the preference pane. Click Location Services on the left. Select Enable Location Services

I just found that my location wasn't showing on my Mac either, so checked on the net. Did the above and now my location is showing.
Then , when you go back to the EOTOPO maps, click on the symbol in the top right corner.

Hope this works for you.
Cheers
Jim

Hi Jim,
Thanks for the reply.
I did this all before, also tested it with "find my mac", and the location was working, but still no luck in exploreoz.
Because it is working for you, I had another look at location services.
I unticked "find my mac", and it was working, showing my current location. Thanks again.

After next login, current location was wrong again and I was not able to make it showing again correctly.

Interesting ! I have just turned on my computer after being away for a couple of days and had turned it right off. Checked the map and when I clicked on the "where you are" icon, the correct position came up.

So I don't think I can really can't help any more .
Good luck .......... try giving Michelle and David a go. Use the Help Desk at the bottom of the page.

Cheers
Jim
