I have noticed a drop off of regulars lately. Maybe it is too cold to sit in front of the puta or they are in demand for other duties...hahahaha Then there are quite a few out on the road somewhere....it is definitely quiet with Mr&Mrs Al being away in the Far North. Maybe Wolfie has worn himself out........hahahaha

Glad you haven't any way Willem. I was thinking it was quiet earlier this evening too. Wolfie isn't quite the same since he got peed on by TT last week.

You counting down the days now Willem?

Who is TT? I must have missed that post.

Counting the days to what? Mate, I don't get excited about trips, I have done so many. I do get a feeling of freedom as I drive out of town on my trip though, and every day becomes an adventure. Not working any more, so one day is the same as the next and but each one is special when I wake up in the morning to find that I am still here...hahahahaha

Off the the Flinders for 6 weeks next week and then home to pack and leave again. But we are very busy with meetings and projects etc etc so the time will fly to the Big Trip.

Willem,

TT is Troopy Travellers who apparently are fast at graphics and a couple of weeks back while I was away had a challenge with Wolfie and had a graphic of a Troopie cocking a rear wheel and peeing on him. Another was Wolfie standing on the front of a Troopie and balancing EO stickers on tail and nose. The graphics were offsite.

I have not been able to find the posts this morning but I am sure Wolfie will remember.

I would love to off to the Flinders again, and another big trip.

Take care mate.

Yep.... Believe it or not there has been many other things to do lately than sit in front of this infernal machine!!!

Have just returned from a houseboat trip on the Murray over the weekend. Very relaxing - even in winter. Had some sunny days and low wind which was real lucky cos the days either side (Fiday and Monday) were shockers!

In a few weeks I am going to Maree to see the 50th anniversary screening of the "Back of Beyond" Tom Cruse film (or is that Kruse??).

I also want to fit in a trip to see the wildflowers in bloom. I did not have many responses to my post about where and when to see a good wildflower showing on a weekend trip from Adelaide.

It is end of financial year which in my line of work means lots of hours and not much chance to get away but I am trying hard to keep a lid on this!

I love the forum but we should all strive for that balance of getting out more! It is after all the season for getting up into the desert country.

I see many of the regulars lurking in the logged on list but not posting much. They sem to hang back and just pick off the favourite topics like rabbits in the spotlight!

Enough rambling for now. I know you are missing wolfie (he has been quieter lately) but I will ry to contain myself for making up for his endless though sometimes entertaining posts!

Cheers
Steven

Steve,

I see Pesty knows too about those houseboat trips. I accidently had a series of pictures of people on a trip on the Murray emailed to me because someone mucked up an email to a lady with the same surname at hotmail. Hmmm, interesting times and photos.

Never know who your relations are playing with do you....... ;-)

Aha!!!! Just realized why LoneStar is digging holes...To hide his mid year profits. Anyone else notice he hasn't told why he is digging holes under his house. Maybe he should change his name to "The Mole"

JohnR might mean me Wolfie, I decided to abandon the Sea nick and revert to my given name "Carolyn" as no one ever says or spells it right, lol. I am the SWMBO half of Troopy Travellers.

This is what I think Wolfie might be up to

Wolfie by the light of the moon

Carolyn

PS. Watch out JohnR if I get a hint of your nic name, you might be next in line for an animation.

TT SWMBO Carolyn,

You may have to catch me fist in an unguarded moment. ;-) I am not like Wolfie on a full moon. I have already seen a cariacature of my bro Willem. I better make sure my pic does not appear here again. LOL
