When off line we can’t get the app to go down to a lower level on the map. It might say there are say 3 points in a location but when I try to get down to it on my iPad it won’t do it.
Any ideas ?

G’Day Martin
Few questions
ExplorOz Traveller ?
What iPad are you using?
What does it do (if anything) when you try, are you scrolling with your fingers or the + - buttons?
Regards

Gday,
It’s an fairly recent apple ipad (7th gen?)
Yes
ExplorOz traveller.
I tried to get closer with the + but at some point it’s greyed out. If I try with my fingers (spread them) it won’t go closer).

Mmmmm
When it greys out is it showing level18?
Does it stay on (or go back to) your existing location when you scroll / zoom?

It goes to 9 (I assume level) and the 9 is red. No problem with staying on our location. We are in service now so had to turn off mobile data to
check what happens off line.

Tap the circle with the black dot above the + & below 3D, when disabled it will change from red to black. Leave location
services at always on.

Makes no difference. Just turns the arrow
orange and points to the left.

Makes no difference. The arrow is white though (only option is
orange and white on black).

Have you downloaded the off line maps If not Tap on the Menu top lefthand corner and then Data Manager and then Offline - Map Packs then in the
EOTopo 2021 the higher the Res packs you download the further you can zoom in. This is for my Android device I assume the Apple iPad is similar.

Well done Dick
Martin , FYI, the arrow simply means you have your App set to track up rather than north up. (Apologies if you are aware of that).
