Hi Guys. Does anyone know what the Wilcania
Bourke Road is like at the moment? Is it sealed or mainly dirt? Is it suitable for caravans?
Thanks,
Spanner

hi spanner,
mainly dirt, not suitable to drive anything after rain. and it doesn't take much believe me. and it gets a slippery as grease. there is just no way you will stay on the road especially with a van pushing from behind.
having said that i towed a campertrailer along it with no probs. it did rain but i just had to stay put for an extra day till we got the all clear from the bush telegraph that the roads had dried up enough.
there is nothing i saw that was real tight or would hinder a caravan travelling along there
