Hi we are looking at tray backs to fit a slide on camper.
How does the Nissan compare to the F250 as we will be towing a 6.5m boat.
We relealise the f250 is wide and you have to suffer duco damage but the slide is wider than the Nissan cab so it shouldn`t be an over all problem, but that aside how do they compare now that quite a few f250s are getting about.

Which F250 motor if your talking the V8 Diesel, it would poo on 99.999999% of things on the market.

But getting parts in remote places is another issue.

Hi Cliff the 250 is a truck and handles like one l should refraese that because theres a lot of trucks out there that handle really good .You have to consider the amount of time you wont have the camper on and if you are considering going 4wding apart from the beach or desert the width and turning circle of the 250 is a pain in the ***** .
lf you are talking about a patrol the rear suspension on the cabs are a bit soft and will need upgrading for carrying a slide on and everything else you put in it plus a boat l think you might need a truck !
