G'Day All,
Here's the last episode of our
Cape York Trip from earlier this year.
This one covers the
places we visited north of the
Jardine River. There's so much to see in that region. We spent a week at
Seisia & could have stayed longer.
Hope you enjoy.
Cheers

Another great video Paul.
Did you happen to walk to the Aboriginal
rock painting at
Somerset?
When we were at Muttee Beach, there was a large log…. dark object about 10 feet out from the shore following us parallel along the beach….and then it then changed direction and haded out to sea and then knew it was not a log, but Croc

Thanks Stephen
No we didn’t see the paintings
You always have something that we missed. Guess we have to go back now. Lol.
I had a similar experience with a small shark at
Quarantine Bay It’s in the video of
Cooktown

Thanks Paul and Michelle.
Been over 20yrs since l have been there. Radar tower is very impressive. Only 40ks to Port Moresby as the Crow flys from there and the Japs where 10ks? from there. That's how close we came to invasion!
Love the
somerset 5 beaches drive, My son almost got lost when he decided to go for a walk from the
jardine river mouth north on the beach. Thats a vivid memory!
Good to see its all still wild .
Will get there soon, once covid is over. Thanks again.

Thanks Nick
Our previous visit was 15 years back & other than the extra traffic not much has changed
At least on this visit we had time to explore not restricted to annual leave anymore
Got to see a lot more of the area than last time
There’s so much more than just the Tip.
5 beaches drive was a favourite this time around
Cheers
