Our latest movie in our quest around Australia incorporates camping in extreme weather and three easy to moderate day hikes - the Crater Valley Board Walk, the Crater Lake Circuit (including the Waldheim Hut and Weindorfers Forest Walk) and concludes with the Dove Lake Circuit. Four seasons during our hikes but hey that’s Tasmanian weather.

Excellent video and photography, M&K. Thanks for sharing.

We've been to Tassie 4 times now. First was a 10 day motel trip with Canadian rellies who are not campers. That gave us a taste. Second was 2 weeks in a hired whizz-bang - an entree. Last two trips were 8 weeks each, towing our Karavan. We don't get tired of the place and will return when we're allowed to.

Yeah it’s pretty special ! We’ve travelled to Tassie numerous times for hikes and camping. Takes a bit to get use to the cold ! Cheers for the feedback.

.
Nice movie. Watched it with my Irish mate.
Paddy spotted the subtitle.... "Cradle Valley Boardwalk - 2 Hours Oneway".
"Begorrah" said Paddy, "How long is it the other way?"

Cheers

We did the Dove Lake walk on a warm day. Part way around we heard a lot of splashing and foreign accents and surprised a skinny-dipping family. There was a hasty scramble for towels and clothes as we approached - they must have heard us. As we walked past we asked if it was cold. Sven (we think they were Swedish) pulled his towel forward, peered down and said "Ya, it is cold". Lol.
