I had the generic fold open ARB style RTT for several years and the last two years have the Kings Aluminium hard shell tent

Have had no issues leaving all our bedding in either one. I can’t remember the brand offhand of a friends hard shell tent but he couldn’t leave pillows etc in his which they found disappointing

Tks - Kings Kwiky MKII Hard Shell Rooftop Tent - I note it is 320 mm high when folded. That is much greater than some of the others I have seen

I lay the sleeping bags flat and folded 1/2 on the section of floor attached to the roof racks. Having them fully rolled out they can fall down and bunch up where the mattress folds and make it harder than it needs to be.

Pillows I take out and stick them in the car. They could probably be left up there, but its easier packing it all up as I don't have to sit on it to squash the air out before zipping on the cover and I have the room so, I save myself the trouble.

We used to have a Shippshape RTT, fitted with a 4" single sided pocket spring mattress which allowed plenty of room to leave all bedding (Doona, pillows etc) in situ ...... & was exceptionally comfortable
