Hi all; our latest adventure in Tassie: Mt Barrow - 22Km Northeast of
Launceston renowned for it amazing
views. Popular with hikers, cyclists and 4-wheel drive enthusiasts. The day we went the weather came in and low-level clouds made for some interesting driving. The track is narrow making for tight turns as you you negotiate the switch back. Highly recommended, however pick your days. We intend to go back when there's some sun!
ps Not for those who don’t like heights.
Cheers - Mike and Kendra

Wow, looks a very interesting drive Mike.
Being so narrow, how would another vehicle go past safely?
The
views must be great on a fine day.
Do they give you a recommended
UHF radio channel to call out for to see if any vehicles are on the track.
Great video and
well done…except that fog.

Glad nothing came up the other way. There were a few
places on the turns in the switch back that you could allow passing. With Landcruiser it was tough just negotiating the turns ! We did send out a messsge on channel 10 that we were on the track . Cheers Mike
