The Queens Highway Yorke Peninsula SA ;locals must have a great sense of humour or they don’t think much of the Queen ;)
Make sure you turn right at the eastern end and stop at the newish Lake Sunday Lookout.

Are you having a lend of us? Where is this road? I can not find any reference to it. Likewise for Lake Sunday Lookout.

Yes, I was using Google Maps. I should have used Whereis maps. It was not on Google. It was not on Bonzle Digital Atlas of Australia either.

It and the Kings Hwy are not on any of the highway listings I have. Looks like a local nom-de-plume.

Wicket.
It may depend on the category of Queen they are referring to! Also the Kings Highway below it goes nowhere at the east end.

Some detail is hidden under the Lake Sunday label in the pic in my follow-up - the white label merges into the white background of the map. The Kings Hwy skirts around the northern edge of the lake and links to Lake Sunday Rd north of the lake.

Kings Highway runs into Lake Sundar Road at the eastern end. I go past there occasionally & it is quite clear on ExploreOz maps. Lake Sunday Lookout is part of the new salt lake trail starting in Yorketown. It was officially opened Mon. November 15th 2021.Takes around 90 minutes to do.
