Don't do what a bloke did a few years back... ignored the road closed sign and drove through nearly floating off and down the river. I believe the long arm of the law caught up with him to his disadvantage.

Thanks Rod

No intention of doing anything silly, just trying to plan.

It was closed with concrete blocks for a while during covid lockdowns but word on another forum is that it's open now. You have to drive it in an arc because if you go straight across it's too deep. It's best to walk it first. The water level changes fairly dramatically so even recent info can be out of date very quickly. If it was me I'd assume it was OK but walk it first to be sure.

Hi,

Haven't any recent crossing info, but being fairly local and having crossed it many times over the past 35 years and considering the current river levels and rainfall lately it should be good to go. I know your dilemma though its not a crossing you can just have a look at and have an alternative plan without travelling a long way to get around it.

If it was me I'd be confident about getting across this week, considering current weather conditions at present !!

Regards
CJ

Thanks CJ

It was good, a bit higher than last time I was in there a couple of years ago. We had been in at it a week earlier and it was about 18 inches higher than now and might have been crossable but I wouldn't have been doing it.
