Sites to create GPX files?

You need to know the format required by the receiving program. You can use Word or Note or Excel to create your GPX file in the required format. Or I use OziExplorer then export the GPX file.

There are a couple of good websites I liek to use.

1)Maps to GPX.

You create directions on google maps then copy the URL into this website. It turns it into GPX track. Goggle allows about 9 intermediate stops and you can force the irections by dragging the route while in maps.

Note I use Memory Maps, and it stopped reading the GPX output from this not long ago. I use GPX Babel to fix that.

2)This page has lots of goodies.

This page lets you draw on a map or Sat photo. I use it to trace tracks on sat photos that don't appear on any maps. Make sur eyou create an account and log in so you don't lose your tracks and data. Output can be GPX

There are lots of other tools on that site. Look at the sections in the green box at the top of the page. It can also take google maps and make GPX
