Any motorbike riders here?

I'm looking for a photo of a rider on their motorbike setup for touring/adventure - ideally a nice LANDSCAPE scene. Extra points if you have your phone/tablet mounted on the handlebars. Ideally a moving photo that someone (or your drone) has taken of you as I'd like to see the whole bike/rider.

Use: just one of many pics I want to put together into a collage on a cover page of the electronic PDF user manual for the Traveller app, showing all the different forms of outdoor activity where people would use the app.

Thanks if you can help.

Michelle, I would love to help but, if I was to ride a motor bike I would look sillier than normal with those "training" wheels sticking out both sides :)

Thanks Justin, great pics - would you happen to have any with the rider ON the bike whilst riding? Otherwise, I've chosen one that I could use (in the sandalwood forest). Thank you.

mmm I might do.. but its a challenge to do that and not fall off :).. Might have some drone shots, or a 360 cam shot. I will check..

I will be able to capture a frame from a 4K video, it depends on if this resolution is enough for your needs.. I have some of these while on the bike..

If it's not too much trouble - yes a frame capture from drone video will be fine thank you.

It is a pic of a motorbike set up for touring/adventure. And tour it did.
For instance, it went from Adelaide to the Kimberly like this in 1999 and was use to explore remote tracks.
Maybe your expectation had preconceptions of motorcycle "touring/adventure"?
Cheers,
Peter

Other than grandstanding, I'd say not alot.

To the OP, I suggest you contact Mongrel Dog Productions via his You tube channel, he should have what your looking for.

I'm feeling the pain just looking at that Peter. Not wearing boots at the time I presume?

At 40kph on a bitumen road, the rear wheel locked up (for reasons never established). At some stage my foot went on the ground and the pedal ran through the leg. 13 1/2 months to save the leg. Boots, but not "motorcycle boots".

Peter.
Apparently some people don't have much empathy or understanding of factors motorcycling. Possibly never owned one or just a Vespa. Even with a navigator on the dash things can change instantly sometimes. Although different, I feel what you went through. My son had bone cancer and transplanted bone held together with a frame and later other leg lengthening with Illazarov frame for many months along with chemo. Not much understanding displayed above. I have come off a bike at around 80kmh and lost the bike but ok. Fortunate in 200,000km of great bike travel.

Faaaark! Did that little DT do that?
RMD’ s 200,000 k is impressive. And I’ve been very lucky in probably over 500,000 k’s 250,000 of them on bmw 1200 gs’s.
I have had a couple of good off’s but no real damage compared to that leg!

Sure, it's just the cover page of the Traveller app user manual pdf doc and its one of a number of pics in a collage depicting outdoor activities, plus text etc on the page - it won't be ready until we release V7.

Have you been looking at this forum long!
We quite often wander around and get away from the OP’s subject , but it’s one of the interesting fun parts of it!
Thanks Peter

Hi Michelle,

I realised after I posted the last "cropped" picture that I had misread your post. Here is another couple of shots from the same trip to the Red Centre.
