Mundi Mundi Bash site - Belmont Station - 12km from Silverton NSW
Come and help with our site works and enjoy the Bash in April with no further volunteering obligations!

THE BUILDINGS
Our builder Winston needs tradie helpers to build three structures. We’ll be using the timber from the timber crates that were used to bring the wind farm turbines from Germany. These 3.6m X 4m crates use good sized timbers for our buildings and will be pulled apart and re-assembled for our Bash FM building, the Gear Depot shed and the mixing room in front of stage.
The buildings sit on rated ground screws, are clad in corrugated iron and lined internally. We build to the Building Code using recycled timbers with a bit of new pine in the mix. We’ll make well-sealed doors and windows and the Bash FM building will have big glass windows for the crowd to watch interviews.

YOUR WORK AND CAMPING
Work days will be 8am to 4pm each day with a break for lunch.
You can choose to camp at the Mundi Mundi site or stay at Penrose Park in Silverton.
If camping on site you'll need to be self-contained for food and water for your three days of shifts.
There’ll be a simple drop toilet on site.
These are great vols shifts because you’ll have them done and dusted before the Bash and you can arrive in April and enjoy the entire event at your leisure ??

REQUIREMENTS
Trade certificate for a building trade (or evidence of substantial experience in the building industry)
Self-contained vehicle and camping set up so you can look after your accommodation, meals etc for the three days of your shift.
Basic tools of your own - tool belt, tape, hammer and similar.
A few cordless power tools would be desirable but not essential.
Moderate lifting is required to carry and slide the panels onto our works trailer and to stand the panels up.

VOLUNTEERING
In return for your three days of work you’ll receive the vols pack with T-shirt, cap, tube bandanna, stubby holder and event program.
In April you can camp in the vols camping area.

THREE SHIFTS ON OFFER:
14, 15, 16 March
17, 18, 19 March
20, 21, 22 March
You’ll need to arrive the evening before your first date to set up camp.
You can stay on site the night after your last day if you wish.
