problem with the new app

I would like some assistance please.
I have finally down loaded the maps yesterday after several attempts. and it is looking fantastic but I still have one small problem. Instead of having my start place here in W.A i seem to now be living in
Alice springs, which is not such a bad Idea sometimes but it is bad for trip planning, any advice would be greatly appreciated

Alice Springs is the default location, it seems that you don't have location
services turned on.

thank you Warren, now could I be so rude and ask, how do I turn location
services on, as I have been trying to locate the turn on button and cant seem find it

Android, Apple or Windows? Done in the device setup. You will be prompted to turn on location
services by the software if it's not enabled. To go to your location you need to click/tap on the 'GPS Lock Orientation Indicator' see page 5 of the v7 manual.
