When I open the App on the Desktop my GPS position shows as being in
Dunsborough some 2000 odd Km away from my real position. Cant figure out how to change it. Advice on how to change it would be appreciated. Thanks, Mark D.

If it's a Windows desktop, search for Location in the search window and select "Allow apps to access your location".
In the same settings window , under Default Location click the Set default button. A map will come up and you can use it to set your desired default.
If your desktop is not a Windows PC I can't help you other than suggest the process will be something similar.
