We are thinking of doing the Anne Beadell in early September with an 80 Series Turbo Diesel L/C towing a
Kimberley Kamper and would appreciate advice on current conditions.Opinions from last year seem to vary a lot. Also has any body purchased fuel at the Roadhouse?

Peter,
We have just completed in June the Anne Beadell, Connie Sue and abandoned section of the Gunbarrell and the Anne Beadell was in a good enough condition to take your camper trailer across.
The eastern end is quite corrugated though, so take it easy along that end.
Fuel at
Ilkurlka roadhouse was $1.60/L, and he carries 10,000litres.
He also has unleaded petrol.
Good luck with the trip.
Geoff.
