Recently purchased Exploroz and loving the app so far. Just planning at this stage, but can't wait to get out and explore!

I was wondering if there is a way to punch and rotate the maps like you would in google maps? I've seen it mention once or twice, but can't seem to find an answer.

Ad hoc map rotation is not possible, its either "Track up" or "North up" under Setttings -> Heading Display.

There's also a 3D mode - look for the "3D" button on the Map.

If the "Traveller App" , I assume that is what is referred to, and in settings you have "North Up" then the map should automatically rotate as you change direction.

George

If you have the App set as North up, the cursor will rotate as you change direction , if you have the App set to Track up the map will rotate as you change direction.

I think there are typos in the above two follow-ups. If North up is set the map will NOT rotate as you change direction. If Track up is set, the map WILL rotate.

That’s right Frank

North up the cursor rotates .. not the map

Track up the map rotates.. not the cursor.

Which is what I said, in a different way LOL.

Edit..I MM’ed you the other day Frank, did you get it?

Thank you everyone for your responses.

I've explored the track orientation settings now, and I'll just stick with turning the map when needed. So far the maps have been great though!

Michael,

I think you are asking to have the ability to like two finger rotate the map when you are not moving or overriding the gps rotation with a rotate gesture. If this is what you are wanting then can you please let me know the use case for this functionality?
