Your Triton will do this easily. Too many people want to tow bloody great monstrosities around with their twin cabs and wonder why things dont always go well. You will pay a premium at the moment, thanks to covid, but that applies to nearly all consumables now. Try and get as low a mileage you can and fitted out with all the tow gear and accessories is a bonus...someone else has done all the hard work for you. Depending on the mileage and seeing as it will be used for towing I,d ensure all oils are changed (especially the transmission) so you,ll have a starting point for future services. There are quite a lot of cars for sale so good luck getting one that suits.

We have a 4wd twin cab 2.4 Diesel. We don't use it to tow anything more than a trailer.
We have on one occasion towed a slide on camper on a tandem trailer, probably about 1.5t all up.
Only complaint was fuel economy, small motor was working pretty hard.
