Maybe the Old Telegraph Track would suit ?

G'day astrowa,
Being new to the
forum and presumably also to ExplorOz, have you heard of or do you have the
ExplorOz Traveller app? It is made to address adventures you seem to be interested in.
Here is a screenshot of the area. The black and white dotted lines are published
Treks that are on the EO system. You can explore those yourself from your desktop computer. From the menu choose
Destinations/
Treks. If you get the Traveller app you can use it to get a lot of info about each Trek and to navigate them with turn-by-turn instructions if you want them.
The screenshot from the Traveller app does not show all tracks and roads because it had to be zoomed out to get the required area in the picture, but as you zoom in there are many dirt roads and tracks that become apparent. Once these tracks become visible you can use Traveller to build your own Trek. Hopefully you'll get an idea from this
pic.

Balladonia-Kalgoorlie area.

One interesting option is to go from Balladonia up to
Rawlinna or Zanthus, and then follow the railway line on the trans access road in to Kalgoorlie.
We did that last October in the reverse direction - from Kalgoorlie along as far as
Haig siding and then down to Cocklebiddy. Warning though, the
Haig to Cocklebiddy section was very rocky and a bit hard to follow - slow and hard on tyres. I think the
Rawlinna option would be easier.
Enjoy !!

We did Cocklebiddy to
Rawlinna, on our way to do Connie Sue H’way,
Carnegie Track & others, mid 2018.
As Wildmax said, that country can be a bit stony, but otherwise okay. This track had a few sign posts, so would be difficult to get lost.
Rawlinna is interesting little place, mostly deserted, but the night we were there coincided with a stop by west bound Indian-Pacific. They stop there & passengers alight for an hour or so, and often have a meal there, prepared by trains catering staff.

Cocklebiddy to Rawlinna Track.
