Just went to search for new car for my sister, and stumbled on Jeep Cheerokee Sport 4 door auto. Dual fuel, very well wquipped for 4WDriving diff lockers dual batteries UHF etc. etc. Now price is $9.999, but it doesn't come with any warranty or road worthy. I know there might be a million things that are wrong with the car, but take for granted that everything is OK. What are your taughts on this price, and cherokee in general in terms of ability in 4Wdriving. Parts availibility would be good to know about as well.
I'm tempted about it!
Thanx for your taughts!

Parts are avialable, but not as readily as some others.

We bought a cherokee TD a few months back for something more comfortable than the troopy when we are not doing anything too difficult.

Love it!

I would check out the diffs though and see if they have been regeared, especiallyif its got bigger tyres to go with the difflocks!!

If it has been modified there may be some dramas getting the RWC, there may not be too!!

Bigger tyres for diff locks? These diffs look pretty standard to me. Why bigger tyres for air lock?

sorry, that wasn't clear.

I was simply suggesting that if someone has gone to the lengths of fitting airlockers then they would probably have increased tyre size as well.

Take it to the RACV and get them to look over it, if theyre happy, you're happy.
