Just heard on the news about 4wd towing carravan being hit by truck.
Details sketchy but it would appear 4wd overtaking truck and wind being a factor???????????????

Yes...family of 3 from
Adelaide killed near Overland Corner on road between
Morgan and
Renmark. Ford Explorer with caravan collided with B double. Wind was mentioned. No further details. Pictures show vehicle totally flattened

Was blown right across to the other side of the road by an unexpected wind gust once.
Frightens the daylights out of you. Just as
well the road was empty. For my sins we lived in Colorado for a while in the 80's, and it was not unusual for 18 wheelers to be blown over by the winds screaming down off the Rockies.
