Good morning i need a bit of help with my van ,i have noticed that in the corner of the ceiling of my van the paint is starting to peel so i scraped it all away thinking that i may have a water leak but couldnt see any ,my problem now is how is the best way to repair the ceiling any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Baker,
Generally speaking, peeling paint is a sign of either a water leak, or a poorly cleaned surface prior to paint being applied in the first place. Just because you cannot see signs of a water leak in the vicinity of the peeling paint, doesn’t mean that you do not have a leak somewhere else, and the water is tracking and pooling in the area you can see.
As far as a repair to your painted surface, without scraping/sanding away all the paint you will always see the repair. I would suggest you speak with a caravan repairer and ask how they would tackle the problem. However, before undertaking repainting, I would further investigate to determine if you do have a water leak.
