I have a different brand but I imagine the wattage would be similar, ours is the type that goes on the matters not a blanket as such, if you leave it going for 30 minutes on high and feel the mattress it is warm to touch.

If you need an electric blanket, use a 240v one. You will need a small inverter, 300 watt recommended but the blanket on full is probably less than 120 watts.

12 volt blanket
THis is for a quality 12 volt blanket. I could never bring myself to buy anything from a mob who calls themselves kickass...I know they way overstated all their battery specifications for starters!!.

Got one Barry but havent used it yet. watching your post with interest, have you tried contacting KA yet?
What are you using to power it, it will draw 3.8Amps on high and need nearly 47 watts

have tested the blanket via a 10 amp dc cig plug to a 240 volt ac supply there is plenty of power there, the high ,medium low lights come on as selected , the high and medium cut out after 45 minutes as a safety feature ,the low did not i turned it off after one hour, iput the blanket under a sheet on my bed to try it out but no luck, also with warranty i think you have 2 weeks to get a claim in,but not sure, best of luck bye

Barry, Hooked
mine up to a portable power station with heaps of wattage capacity and it worked fine
Had it on low and it cut out while I was sleeping which I assume was after 45 mins. I note that it was initially pulling about 55 watts which I understand is normal on startup
Hope you get a resolution

Barry, Have noticed that I get all lights blinking only on the odd occasion before it ceases and accepts a setting and starts heating. Also that it pulls up to 80 watts initially on the medium setting. Had to change my power source as it was being depleted too quickly. Cant say that I am really happy with it
