Guys
I have just bought myself a 57 litre Engel
water tank. Any ideas how I treat the first tank full of water.
Do I need water purifier tabs or just a bit of vinegar for the first tank full.
Thanks

G'day,
Don't have an Engel
Water Tank, but the instructions that came with our Flexi-Tank said to "rinse out before use; then fill with water to which you add 50 grams of bi-carbonate of soda for every five litres of water. Leave for six-hours then empty and flush thoroughly with clean water."
Seems to work fine. Nobody been poisened yet.

Hi Paul,
I've had the same tank as you for some time. Considering some of the
bore water I've put in it over time, treatment now seems pointless. If I was you, a good initial filling and flushing should be quite adequate.

Kim
