Heading off next week to have a look at all the corner country has to offer my concern is can I get food supplies in Birdsville for possibly 3-4 days Cheers

There is a general store at the roadhouse. It would carry stock similar to that stocked in other small outback towns. What you can get there also depends on how long you arrive after their last delivery.

It has a Bakery and a Hotel that does counter meals. I don't think you will starve.

People also live there and need to eat. I wonder where they get there food from?

As I thought the semi trailer service from Adelaide to all the stations on the Birdsville track delivers to Birdsville.
It's interesting to me that when I last in SA , went to dentist in Port Augusta and patients came from Birdsville as it is closest dentist.
