Trying to come up with some ideas of where to go
camping in NSW.
We like out of the way
places where there aren't many people, with relaxing surroundings. Probably prefer to stay on the coast side of the state as I've been promising a non desert trip for some time.
We have a Patrol and are self sufficient, no camper or caravan.
We'll have about 3 weeks and will be coming up from Vic.
Thanks for any help.

Camping; self contained or powered caravan parks?
East of the great Divide; river, bush or beach side?
National
Parkes; yes or no?
Location; how far up the coast do you want to go and how long at each location
Matt please provide more details and then people can provide a more tailored response

Hi Matt
I don’t think there are any “out of the way”
places along the east coast. Plenty of lovely ones.
There are a few beach
camping areas which may suit. Check out National Parks.
Cheers
Jim

Thanks Slopokin, I'll look into all those areas. I'm a little embarrassed by how few
places I know of in NSW, but I guess that's a by product of only having 1 holiday a year I suppose (just like most people).

Mann River, also down the Big
hill, 15km east of Glen Innes, the road takes you to the old
Grafton road thru a tunnel, then down towards Nymboyda/ Their are some beautiful, areas in the hinterland of
coffs harbour. Nat.
Park maps, have a lot of info, for you to look for in the hinterlands of the coast.

Thanks Richard. We used to go up that way a few decades ago now. I can remember that area as being very pretty, I'll follow that up.
