EO TrackMe app server id.

Hello,
Please help me before my brain completly scrambles.
I have 2 devices on the TrackMe app.
Each device comes up with an error message "enter your member id in settings".
I have spent hours trying to find where to enter this detail.
I have searched the forum and read the manual.
Please help.

ExplorOz publishes Traveller and Tracker, but not a TrackMe.

There are a number of apps in Playstore titled "TrackMe" but none are made by ExplorOz.

Not wanting to be smart here, but are you sure you're referring to an ExplorOz product?

My recent trip comes up on the Traveller app, does the traveller app tracking supersede and make redundant the EOTrackMe obsolete?

I deleted EOTrackMe off my phone and loaded ExplorOz tracker.
I'll see how that goes.

Yes, William, the tracking function in Traveller makes Tracker redundant for you. However, family and friends can use Tracker on their phones or tablets to follow you if you set up your tracking from Traveller to allow that. I haven't done that myself but perhaps someone here has and can guide you through the steps if that's what you want.

But for yourself, if you're using the tracking function in Traveller you don't need Tracker - it would just create a duplicate track-log and clutter your on-line account.

Well now my brain is hurting. :-)

Aaahuh. After some searching I have found references to EOTrackme. It seems to me it is a predecessor to Tracker. I was not aware of it's existence, so apologies for my ignorance. Anyway it seems that it has been overtaken by Tracker and is no longer current. I don't know whether or not it is even supported. Perhaps it is not and that's why it doesn't work for you.

As I said above, if you're using the tracker function in Traveller then you yourself do not need an additional tracker, whether that be the superseded EOTrackMe or the current Tracker. Family and friends can use it (it's free) to follow your progress, provided you set up your tracking to accommodate. I have not done that myself so cannot give you step by step suggestions. Perhaps some else here who has done it can help - otherwise it's back to the manual, I'm afraid.

Here's the manual for Tracker. Post Status is on P6. It will apply to Traveller as well, though I don't think it's in the Traveller manual. You can get the Tracker manual from the EO website at Products/Tracker/Support Help/User manual

I haven't used Post Status myself, but it seems to me you would need to be on the road with tracking enabled to have the Post Status button become active. A bit of a guess, I'm afraid.
