Place Comment: Louisa Bay Campsite

Great remote camping but $15/adult. Very corrugated track in but some amazing views through the sand dunes. Beach had a lot of seaweed.

Where? If you at least put the state would be helpful.

Does the $15/adult cover the barge transfer to the Island, or is that an additional cost again? I can find no information in the Place comments or description that covers this angle.
Are there barge limits for weight and dimensions and times? I think this needs to be included in the Place information.

Cheers, Ron.

Hi Ron,

Because prices vary from time to time, the EO site owners have a policy that rather than list prices or other variable information in the description and then have them be wrong at a later date it is better to show contact details so that travellers can do their own timely research. Either that or if someone reports rates, fees or other variables they can go into a Comment .

The DHI website is very informative and I have updated the contact details to include phone and email, which were missing. I've also added a line in the description pointing travellers to the info you suggested is necessary (and it is).

Hope this helps.
