We were on the Talawana track coming back from
Rudall River and Desert Queen Baths 3 weeks ago, it was in perfect condition.

Nick T2. I assume you mean perfect condition West from Rudall NP. Did you travel Rudall NP towards the Gary Highway to
Windy Corner from
Well 24 on the Talawana ? We had an adventurer walk this track pulling a cart from
Steep point in June he reported the track was very overgrown with a few recent burn't out wrecks ,one towing a camper. The Windmill and
Bore ( Now a handpump) @6 km off to the South East was operational with good quality water.
Midway Bore and old windmill

Thanks for the info. What was Desert Queen Baths like? Was the track in OK and would we get a small hybrid van in? We stayed there about 10 years ago and loved it.

Nich Bails
We camped on the clay pan just off the
Rudall River road and just took the it as in to the baths. We have an Ezytrail
Parkes 13 mk 2 that we took in to number 11
pool at
Rudall River, much rougher track than Desert Queen.
Rudall River rd has a lot of soft sand but with tyres down was hard work but got through.
