I made one for my Waeco....cut down an old esky...fixed a aluminium base plate which I had predrilled ...fitted a small fan to circulate the air....cost $50. works great ..use it to store the vegies!

Similar to Les, made one to suit me Autofridge, used 45mm Tassie Oak, turned a 39lt into 59lt. great for vegies and bread.

work
well , have had one for 2 mths. takes a bit to re-adjust and get temps right.
they retail at 349 but got it for 299 on sale. if you have a fridge slide or draws, take the new height into account.

Jac, is the idea that you can still use the Engel as a freezer but the extension bit is just like a fridge? If so, does the freezer bit still freeze?
