Good afternoon, I know it is a long shot, but I need to get a heavy duty trailer net repaired. It was originally made by a guy in Dandenong Vic and is made the same as a fishing net. I borrowed my mates trailer and he said that the nets goes with it, long story, I damaged it and it needs to be repaired or replaced. Does anybody know of anybody that may be able to help, preferably in Melbourne, but anywhere will do. I have done a Google search for net makers and the only one that got back to me couldn't help. TIA.

Hi John, have you thought of a sail maker to repair the net or a motor trimmer. There is a sail maker in Cranbourne (Shade and Sail) I think the name is. I think it is off Evans Rd half way between Thompsons Rd and Frankston - Carnbourne Rd.
location - Warragul -Victoria
life is too short, so out and about enjoy

Get in touch some commercial fishermen, they would have contacts with net makers/repairers.

John,

Don't know anything about them but have you tried Oxley Nets in Pt Melbourne? Their website says they do trailer nets. As we know these things vary considerably in quality but it might be worth a call at least.

Good luck with it.
