I have not long purchased a dualcab Hilux with a 2" lift and i'm thinking about going just a little bit higher but i'm unsure wether to go for a body lift or 1" extended shackles as apposed to new spring's.I have been given mixed answers about the shackles and would like some advice from other fourby owners that have or havn't had them.

Check the legality of extended shackles in your state, and also body lifts in some states require engineer certificates to be legal..

Thanks for your reply I didn't realize there was legal issues unless the lift was over 6"

Was just on the VicRoads site looking at the shackle issue for my own mods... Extended shackles in Vic equals unroadworthy.
