Once upon a time I could look up a trek log from another member for ideas in planning my own trip. When I go to a members trek log, nothing comes up except get next page. Can someone tell me what has changed, or have I missed something. Thanks

Garry,

That means that the logs are marked as personal. You would need to contact the member/s to unlock or share them with you.

Hi TrevorDavid, it seems quite strange that only last year I could view members treks eg Mick O, Stephen L etc with no problems. I could view many treks then all of a sudden this seems to have changed. So what you are telling me, without being nasty in the way I am asking is That all members overnight have made there treks private. My son in law, also a life member cannot access my trek logs that are open. This is why I asked the question if something has changed. Please correct me if I am wrong, and I have totally miss understood. Please do not think I am trying to be critical of your reply.

Garry, I can find 189 Treks and over 5000 Track logs if that helps.
Maybe Updated Treks will have what you are looking for?

Just tested the website from my phone in Nullagine...opened Track Logs page Track Logs and all is as normal. Thousands of visible/searchable Track Logs.

Where are you looking? Think you must be looking in your Oersonal Track Logs instead of the main webpage?

Hi Michelle, may be I am not explaining myself properly and people have missed my point. I will try again to you . When I used to go to membership and go to members list, at the top there is a scroll with most visited members eg, Stephen L, equinox, Mick o etc and click onto there names and there past trek logs, and they would come up to see. That does not seem to be happening now. I used a lot of Stephen L treks to design my own as I am coming in from the east, the view Mick O to see what his treks are in a similar area. I was not viewing new Trek Logs of which i can see . The trek logs from members list eg to go and see StephenL ,I could look up page after page of his various trek routes, and the same with Mick O, but all I get now is go next page. I hope this explains it a bit further

Garry,

There is a difference between Treks and Track Logs. Maybe that's what threw some people off. A Trek is a plan to do a route. A Track Log is a record of it.

Following your expanded explanation in response to Michelle, I just checked Mick O's and Stephen L's Track Logs. I too get zip, just the Next Page button.

FWIW I looked up my own using the same method and they're all there.

Cheers

Bingo thanks Cruza, that is what I am trying to say. It would be more helpful if I could show a picture as a couple have done, but that is way out of my comfort zone and that is where I need Judy. Judy has more important things to do than me worry her about all these type of matters. I try and do the best I can. Thanks for explaining what I am try to express

Thanks Frank, but I like you have miss understood what I am asking, but the info in your thread was also an advantage to me. If you look at Cruza's comment, he understood what I was asking. Using Stephen L as an example, I could go to his trek logs and it would show me all his treks over several years, year by year but now I only get next page and nothing shows up like in the past. I have looked at many of Stephen's logs as an idea to plan my own trip as I pass through Sth Aust, then go to Mick O'S trek logs to see what is of interest as I travel further west, but the same thing also happpens, go to next page and nothing happens. I am trying to work out why I can no longer access this info. But thank you very much for your help

Hi Frank some how I stuffed up the first part of my reply, I really like what you have done in that thread that you mentioned. It was explained in a more simpler way step by step for me to understand, and of great benefit in the future. ( I have it placed in a separate folder with the help of Judy). Thanks

I have the same thing, on all my Apple devices.
Select a member, go down to My Track Logs (36) for example, click on it and only get
" Get Next Page"
No Track Logs are listed.
I'm sure all the Track Logs are there in the main list, but the Tracks Logs by a particular member do not get listed when searching his profile.

Cheers
