The SA Desert Parks bulletin on 4 July reports continued extensive flooding in Cooper Ck around
Innamincka.
I'm curious to hear how much of this water, if any, has made it to the
Birdsville Tk crossing.
Keen to hear from anyone who has been on the
Birdsville Tk over the past couple of days.
TIA

It takes an extremely unusual weather pattern in outback Queensland to bring enough water to make its way to the Cooper and even more rain to get it to cross the
Birdsville Track, an event that usually happens around every 30 years.
The
Birdsville Track is open and this link is all you need to worry about.

The
Lake Eyre Yacht Club reckons there is not much coming down the cooper. View that link and keep checking it.

Was at
Innamincka last week and the levels are dropping. No chamce it will reach
Birdsville track - too many lakes to fill before it gets there.
